Use sunshine to boil water, cook meals or experiment with this portable solar dish. It can boil up 4 Litres (7 pints) of water at 20 C in 20min. Temperatures can reach as high as 1200 C. The reflector is made of carbon steel with highly reflective film (reflectivity> 85%). The surface is spray-coated to provide good rust prevention. The reflector itself comes in 6 pieces which is easy to disassemble/assemble. The dish can be easily and quickly adjusted to point to the sun using the stable base. Would be great as part of a organic rankine cycle system.
