This little drill is perfect for starting our lecture gyroscope. The low torque and high speed is ideal.
Dremel (another drill manufacturer) used to make a simple drill that ran off AA batteries and we used to
stock this. However in the divine wisdom they stopped making it.
So we found this.
It is certainly not the highest spec drill with low torque but that is actually a good thing when starting gyros.
Having low torque makes the lecture gyroscope much easier and safer to start.
The RPM is quite fast for a large gyroscope such as the lecture.
The drill is cordless which makes it easy to handle. Charges from a USB plug.
