This gyroscope was designed to be an replacement to the Classic Tedco gyroscope however it never replaced it. Although it is technically an improvement some people still loved the look of the original and hence hence it has been sold alongside the other. It has tiny single ball bearings at the ends of the shaft to increase spin times. The disk itself is injection moulded with metal inserts, increasing the weight and hence spinning for several minutes. It can be started with a plastic T-handle (pull cord) or started the traditional way with string. A pedestal (stand) and instruction booklet is included. It is durable enough to withstand hours of classroom demonstrations. Please note: string is no longer supplied with the gyroscope. Colours can vary from time to time.

It has been a steady seller for us for over 30 years. A great little science toy.
